Ça fait longtemps

It has been a while since I have posted on here. Holidays in France, a camera full of photos and a lot of rain later and it is time to begin again.

Firstly, I turned twenty six in the Manuel’s beautiful home in France. Annie was painting the house for her new Annie Sloan book, so I am unable to share any images yet – but bathtubs in bedrooms, foxgloves in vases and large open fires made it feel like sleeping in World of Interiors – only better.

This time, Hugo and I managed to return with:

–   Boxes of Pont-l’eveque

–   (A few) two euro bottles of wine

–   Jars of Petit Pois

–   Petit Marseillais Soap

…and papier mache letters spelling JURNAUX (anagrams welcome)

2 hours later we both left with a cheese grater, a stack of candles, two kitchen chairs from the bargain bin and a slight feeling of regret.

The meatballs however, were excellent…
